Southend-on-Sea War Memorial
[edit]- ... that Southend-on-Sea War Memorial (pictured) was the first of six obelisks designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens in England?
- ALT1:that Southend-on-Sea War Memorial (pictured) was originally designed as a cenotaph but was changed to an obelisk?

- New, long enough, within policy, neutral, well cited. I do not feel that there are any paraphrasing issues, although the text on the design inevitably parallels in some places the "Historic England" description cited.
- Hook format and content OK. I personally prefer the original to the ALT.
- QPQ carried out. Image is free and would look good.
- Good to go in my opinion.- Smerus (talk) `15:33, 23 February 2016 (UTC)
